The Strood Chapel Funeral

This option includes the following and is open to all members of the public:

  • The basic funeral arrangements
  • A Hastings coffin and gown
  • Use of the Strood Chapel
  • 40 mourners maximum
  • Cremation next working day at Crematorium – NO-ONE ATTENDING

The cost of the Strood Chapel Funeral is £ 1200.00

The Strood Chapel Funeral does not include the following:

  • Leaving from a home address or one of our branches
  • The opportunity of viewing the deceased and dressing them in their own clothes

Disbursements paid on your behalf:

  • Crematorium fees
  • Celebrant or Minister’s fees (optional)

TOTAL COST OF THE STROOD CHAPEL FUNERAL WITHOUT A CELEBRANT OR MINISTER IS £ 1490.00

TOTAL COST OF THE STROOD CHAPEL FUNERAL WITH A CELEBRANT OR MINISTER IS £ 1754.00

This can reduce the waiting times available for a cremation.

 

Our payment terms are full fees, as cleared funds, to be paid no later than five working days prior to the funeral date to avoid delay or cancellation.
